Cadbury Fry Hudson Ltd

Richardson Hudson established his bakery in Dunedin in 1868 and in 1884 purchased a chocolate-making plant during a visit to Europe. Cadbury’s had supplied New Zealand with chocolate from its English plant but, following an increase of duties, in 1928 amalgamated with Richard Hudson to form Cadbury Fry Hudson Ltd.
