Notes: Accidental Forgery – 500 cards were ordered from The Raven Press, Christchurch, with the sample message supplied on the reverse of the 2½c + ½c Additional Postage stationery card. When the new order was supplied the printer had added the ½c Additional Postage imprint to the front, in a large bold font. This created a meaningless 3½c postage rate card. (Reference: Samuel, R.D.
